Of cause, I can press Alt+Space, select "Move" and turn the window into correct zone using arrow keys, but I would expect auto-checking window position during app startup and automatic moving it in cause if the position is out visible zone. A lot of other software do such checking.

Graphical representation of this case:
http://s102.fotosklad.org.ua/20161108/f/505f206659a0a5bdc6cbb6191acf8be9.png

Thank you. This works on Windows (8.1). This technique may/should work on other OSs.

Create a batch file called (e.g.) 'sc_osk.bat' with the following commands:
start SpeedCrunch.exe
start osk.exe

The first command launches SpeedCrunch. The second command launches the Windows On-Screen Keyboard. Configure the On-Screen Keyboard to display the number pad (this will give easy access to divide, multiply, subtract, add). Resize and re-position the keyboard to taste. You will need to close two windows to 'exit' (the SpeedCrunch window and the on-screen keyboard window). The next time you run sc_osk.bat, the two windows will appear in the same position. Note: The on-screen keyboard will float 'above' all other windows, obscuring them.

It's far from a perfect solution, but might work for some.

This won't work if focus-follows-mouse is enabled.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3899900022788320858.post-41107409226889563072015-10-01T03:30:59.278+01:002015-10-01T03:30:59.278+01:00Wow, where has this been my whole life.
